Specialist Sectors
Ofsted now requires schools to demonstrate that a lockdown alert sound is distinctly different to a fire alarm. This is because one alert requires evacuation and the other to remain safely inside the building.
With Martyn's Law coming into effect, our team can deliver tailored solutions that prioritise the safety of your students and staff whilst remaining within budgets.

Many of our school lockdown systems can be deployed rapidly, without the need for excessive cabling, building works or excessive disruption.
We'll visit you on-site to conduct a full survey of your premises, ensuring the systems we design are made to measure for your property.
Our lockdown system designed to be unique, to ensure staff can quickly differentiate them from a fire alarm system or call point.
The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, also known as Martyn's Law, introduces new legal duties for public venues and events, ensuring organisers and owners are prepared for, and capable of communicating and responding efficiently to terrorist threats.
As of the 3rd April 2025, the act (Martyn's Law) received Royal Assent. UK Government states there will be a minimum 24 month implementation period allowing organisations to prepare and plan ahead.
Property owners must assess their premises, implement practical safety measures, and ensure staff are trained in lockdown and emergency procedures. During the two-year implementation period, venues can review and improve security plans before full legal duties come into effect.
Lockdown your premises
Our wireless school lockdown system can be scaled to meet the needs of any size school, college, university or public space. With a standard system size of up to 64 units, we can cover a distance of 1km.
Where required, we can implement a mesh network that increases the maximum range to a massive 16km.
Here are some examples of where lockdown systems have been installed in schools to allow fast response in an emergency. Speak to our team today to find out more about how we can help you protect your school, college or university.

Case Study
CIA were responsible for designing and installing a new school lockdown system for a primary school in Manchester.
We carried out a thorough survey of the site before sitting down with the operations manager. We walked them through what the best solution was for them. The operations manager at the primary school was impressed by the options available and the simplicity of the installation process.
